Childcare professionals face behavior challenges every day. Generic behavior charts and one-size-fits-all strategies often fall short. That is why we built the CARE™ Framework, part of our full range of services, to offer something more thoughtful.
The CARE™ Framework is a coaching-based approach to behavior support. It is developmentally appropriate, which means it reflects how children actually grow and change. It is also culturally responsive, so it respects the backgrounds of the children and families being served.
Many behavior programs hand professionals a script to follow. Our approach works differently. We coach childcare professionals through real situations, so strategies fit the child in front of them.
Behavior looks different at every age. What works for a toddler will not work for a school-age child. The CARE™ Framework accounts for these differences, rather than applying one strategy across every age group.
A child’s behavior cannot be separated from their culture and environment. We help professionals understand behavior in context. This leads to support that respects a family’s background instead of working against it.
Traditional behavior management often focuses on stopping unwanted behavior. Our approach starts with a different question. We ask what a behavior is communicating, and what a professional can do about it.
This shift matters because it:

This framework was built specifically with childcare professionals in mind, including:
What does CARE™ stand for?
We are happy to walk through the full framework and what each part represents during a consultation. Reach out through our contact page to learn more.
Is the CARE™ Framework only for classroom settings?
No. It applies to any setting where childcare professionals support children’s behavior, including centers, family child care, and other early learning environments.
Do professionals need special training to use the CARE™ Framework?
We guide professionals through the framework directly as part of our coaching. No outside certification is required to begin.
